If you have not ever visited us, we want the Web site to give you an idea of who we are as an organization. Thanks to advances in technology, we have the ability to perform studies and procedures that we could not perform last year. We will continue to improve in this way. Our employees and physicians also attend continuing education and training each year. We do this not only to remain proficient in what we do as specific members of the health care team but also so we can also provide you with advanced and modern care techniques. Most hospitals, if they want to succeed, will update technology and train or educate “her” staff. What is unique and exceptional to Northwest are her people and how they care. This is where we have an edge. My hope is that if you have not visited us, you will begin to get a hint of how much our employees and physicians care as you look through our Web site. Each one of us, whether we work on the first floor or the third floor, on the east side of the building or the west, and regardless of department we work in, is here for one reason: To take care of patients. Everything we do, every minute of every day, whether it is delivering meals, cleaning rooms, or directly delivering health care services-we have patients in mind first. As you scroll through our site, you will have the opportunity to read our mission and vision statement. Simply put, our Mission is “To take care of people” and our Vision is “To do it better every day”. We exist because of our community and those who choose to use our services from outside the community. We strive to provide you with the excellent care you desire and we want you to be totally satisfied with the care you receive. We will not be “excellent” and you will not be “totally satisfied” because of the equipment we use. We only achieve excellence and total satisfaction through great staff members or the way we like to refer to one another, great “teammates”.
